The IFO Research Center has developed a methodology for laboratory selection of solutions to one of the most critical and painful issues in water treatment at refineries – control of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB). Thanks to the new development, the company has reached a stable achievement of targets for controlling this type of bacteria and continues to implement the developed solutions at the industry enterprises.
