The X International (XVIII All-Russian) Scientific and Practical Conference “Oilfield Chemistry” was held in The Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas on June 29, 2023. The conference was attended by employees of Russian oil and gas companies, petrochemical manufacturers, representatives of domestic research institutes and universities, who were united by a common goal – to determine the main trends in the development of the global and Russian chemical reagents market.
Alexey Ryzhkov, the IFOTOP company’s leading technical expert in the oilfield chemistry, presented a report on the topic “Innovative active bases for corrosion inhibitors designed to protect downhole equipment and pipelines for various purposes of oil and gas fields, based on domestic amines.” During the presentation topics of requirements and features of the modern corrosion inhibitors production, stages and methods for creating reagents, forms and new technologies were covered. Thanks to abovementioned approaches the domestic product becomes safer, more economical and more efficient.
